BLACK WOMEN'S BOOK CLUB WINS $11 MILLION DISCRIMINATION LAWSUIT AGAINST TRAIN COMPANY FOR 'LAUGHING TOO LOUDLY'

"A group of women who filed a $11million racial discrimination complaint after being removed from a train during a wine tour have reached a settlement. The 11-strong party, which included 10 African-Americans, were ordered off the Napa Valley vintage trip last August after other passengers allegedly complained they were being too loud.

They filed a lawsuit asking for $1m each after claiming they were humiliated and discriminated against by staff who told them several times to lower their voices. Their lawyer yesterday revealed they have come to an 'amicable settlement' six months after filing the lawsuit at the U.S. District Court in northern California..."

This is essentially the EXACT same thing that happened to John at Blinkys' Can't Say Lounge; Woodhams Lounge and the Oasis Nightclub -- and the State of California facilitated this rights violation with their often wrongfully interpreted and largely unregulated "denial of service" law allowing ejections from public business establishments on a code-based basis. (John was also physically attacked as well at Woodhams Lounge and/or the Oasis Nightclub).

Therefore; all businesses should not only be required to post their business codes in an obvious location (perhaps by the front door); but all business codes should also be submitted to the State of California in the case of possible future legal action. These actions will hopefully deter any further rights violations by public business establishments in the State of California. (mandating that surveillance cameras be installed outside entrances/exits is a good idea too).

NOTE: Caucasians are now officially a minority group in the State of California; therefore Caucasians should enjoy equal rights etc protections as all other minority groups. That said; one particular racial groups' majority status should not amount to any loss of equal protection for that racial group. The Equal Protection Clause is part of the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. The clause, which took effect in 1868, provides that no state shall deny to any person within its jurisdiction "the equal protection of the laws". > GO TO: EQUAL PROTECTION CLAUSE @ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal_Protection_Clause + EQUAL PROTECTION: AN OVERVIEW @ https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/equal_protection

It's all about class-based discrimination.
